QUESTIONS
GENERAL QUESTIONS
What is the Cutternation Travel Team program?
The Cutternation Travel Team program is designed for athletes seeking high-level competition, skill development, and exposure to college scouts. Our travel teams participate in regional and national tournaments and are backed by elite coaching to help players grow both on and off the field.
Who can join the travel teams? Our current fall team pathway is focused on 12U, 13U, and 14U players preparing for high school baseball.
TRYOUTS
How do I try out for a travel team?
Cutternation Travel Teams stand apart from traditional travel teams as in we do not have a "tryout". Our teams are exclusively comprised of players who train within the Cutternation program, ensuring a cohesive and high-performance team dynamic.
If you're interested in joining a tournament roster, we encourage you to complete our interest form. While priority is given to our in-house athletes, we occasionally have open roster spots available for external players who meet our standards of excellence and commitment.
What is the time commitment for travel teams?
Travel teams typically require a commitment to weekend tournaments (typically one tournament a month), weekly practices, and additional training sessions during the season. Off-season training is encouraged to maintain skills and fitness.
Are there additional fees for tournaments or special events?
Tournament fees are $120 per tournament. Most of our tournaments are local to San Diego, however, families may be responsible for travel and lodging costs if needed.
Where can I find updates about team activities?
Updates are shared through email, our website, and social media channels. Be sure to follow us for the latest news and announcements.
